Time Crunch
I got a little more work done on the preparation of the beds today.
I like to add organic material to each bed every year. This year I found some bagged composted cotton burr mulch. I have used this before and it blends well with the soil and helps retain moisture.
I finished two more beds today before dark. One will be for cucumbers and one for cantaloupe.
I set up trellises for these viney guys to grow on. Getting them up off the soil is helpful in keeping the fungus down.
